Need white yarn .

I need white yarn to finish my block throw it is thick and warm ,,, Since i ma doing a fall theme and have used brown and orange and yellow all i need now is some white but i think i want to make it bigger . Throw i also want to make my mom a rug , or a throw for her. I no i will get in trouble for saying the word mom but thaat what she is . The funny thing is that i have to turned my cell off cause when i talk about my mom or say something i get a call so i just turned the cell of and will not be turning it on for a while. Just like right  now i just fond out that i post to my friends that if they want to come and walk with me got turned it something out of paportion. why do i even bother to try and change when one person want to get me all riled up .

Tired today

So i was woke up by a bright light lol no not heaven the room across the hall was on and was bright . When i tried to head back to sleep i could not cause the light would not let me . so i am up and not happy about it cause i should be starved but ill food make me wanna get sick . I heard that elmo is this year most wanted toy so i ask my gams to get me a man size elmo and she lol , she said waht will you do with it i say i would love it like a man that dose not talk back and not to cheat lol , the perfect bed mate .

Lost at the heart

when i beg to move on with my life i lock up my thoughs and my feelings with barbwire . I just think i dont want to go back to being the person i was , So if i am ment to be alone i would like a sign cause if i am then why should i look for a man when i am doom to be alone . If god will just tell me you are ment to be alone then i will move on and get over that and be happy for the other that have the love that i will never have with another .

Asking for forgiveness

I one time ask what I thought was a friend of mine for forgiveiness ... He turned me down , the things is if you never forgive you never heal . I no i have not and will not forgive my real father for is ill thoughts . But to think that i lost the one man that I trust with all my hurt and things . He turn his back on me . Then to find out he was only my friend cause he thought i would have sex with him . Friends dont have sex sorry. That when he change and left the one that loved him to the dust . I prayed and cried that he would call and let me no that he is ok . There nothing !!!! You were there when my family went threw the worst how can you leave me like that . You were my brother i miss you so much .... I keep my cell turn off cause when i have a bad day you the one person i wanna call , when i have good news i wanna call you but you never there you changed your number . I dont care that you only wanted sex but you could still call me .

So this is a update on the blanket doing fall colors . So far a dark tan and a light fall orange .. then yellow hope to get some brown soon .

I have moved on with my life ... Being with you was the worst of all the men i had in my life . Cause not only were you officially bad at all things but you never could be who you were meant to be in the world .I used to think that i was my fault that you did not love me but no it was you just like the one after me your to self absorbed . Controlling at to think you cheat on me after i kicked you out i cheat on you before we got married lol. So i win your family thought i wanted your money buy we had none .Your family was so low down that they had to take the dinner food that my mom paid for with them and they could not even pay for the flower girl dress your mother . But all is well these days i will find my own person and a good husband that wants what i want and that is me and a child lol , to think i was you no and i lied and to you i was not ... That god i did have that happend cause you mother and your family would never have been there .

I used to have dreams that you would snake you self back in my life but nope those dreams have been replaced with dreams of a happy life with a new someone . There not one single tear for you but happiness that your gone and i have moved on . Thank you M.R.N for showing me who i am meant to be and not what i should be for you . Like every bastard child there rise of glory will be seen threw all over the world .

Momas B-day this weekend

This weekend is my mommy b-day so were taking her out to eat lol . Since my daddy is in town i can see him as well woo hoo ..... TRUST ME WHEN I TELL YOU ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO DO IT AFTERWARDS, SO DON'T CREATE EACH PANEL OR CHRISTMAS TREE SEPARATELY AND HOPE TO ATTACH THEM LATER... IT WON'T COME TOGETHER RIGHT ****

Yo Yo Crochet is So Simple In Concept and Yet So Fabulous To Look At. Here's your pattern.

You will find two attachments that are free. You can use the Christmas Tree Skirt Pattern as I have just coloured in the graph to show you where your colours need to be and I have provided you free hexagonal graph paper so that you can plan your own Yo Yo Crochet Patterns.

The Yo Yo's are about 3" in diameter to 4" depending on the size of your hook.

Use a Size I Hook for best results. I have used Size K as well but it appears LOOSEY GOOSEY and probably not a great look in comparison to an "I" Hook.

PATTERN:

1 - Chain 4 and Slip Stitch To Create A Ring!

2 - Chain Up 3, Double Crochet 11 Times. (The first chain of 3 counts as one Double Crochet Automatically giving a final of 12). Slip Stitch at the end to complete the circle.

3 - Chain up 3, Single Crochet into the next Stitch, Then Chain 3, Then Single Crochet Next Stitch, Then Chain 3, Repeat all the way around. Slip stitch at the end and cast off.

Each Yo Yo Only has these 3 steps.

HOWEVER... to attach the YO YO's together, there are methods of attaching! You need to attach them together when you are chaining between the Double Crochet on the final rotation. You must do this and attach as you go. Materials

Small bit of any yarn. I used Vanna’s Choice, worsted weight yarn.

Any crochet hook you’d like. I used a size H (5.0mm).

Special Stitches

Puff Stitch (PS): *Yo, insert hook in loop. Yo, draw up a loop. Yo, draw through 2 loops.* (<– I like to think of this as the first part of a regular dc if that helps. Just leave off the last “yo, pull through 2 loops” you’d normally do when crocheting a dc.) Repeat from * to * twice more. 4 loops on hook. Yo, pull through all 4 loops.

Directions

Ch 3, join with sl st to form loop.

Round 1: ch 2, PS, ch 4. *PS, ch 4* Repeat from * to * 4 more times. 5 Puff Stitches total. Join to first PS with sl st.

Round 2: Into each ch-4 space work, *sc, 5 dc, sc*. To join, sl st in top of first ch.

Fasten off, leaving a 10 inch tail to weave onto a hat, pin, purse, sweater… whatever you’d like!

Size P crochet hook (11.5mm)

Super Bulky Yarn. I used Lionbrand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in a heather gray, but any bulky yarn will work.

Special Stitches

FCH – Foundation Chain (or single crochet): Chain 2. Insert hook in the first of two chains. Yarn over, draw through loop (chain stitch just created). Yarn over, pull through two loops on hook. (Single crochet created). You now have two fch completed. *Insert hook in upper loop of stitch just created. Yarn over, draw through loop. Yarn over, pull through two loops on hook.* Three fch completed. Repeat from * to *across for desired number of chain stitches.

HHDC – Herringbone Half Double Crochet. Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch. Yarn over, pull through two loops on hook. (This will be a little awkward, but it’s correct. You might have to use your left thumb and forefinger to really hold the stitches so you can pull through both of them.) Yarn over, pull through two loops on hook.

15 sc in ring sl st to join

Round2:

Ch8 Skip 2sc then sc in nxt st around, sl st to join, ch1

[(1sc, 1hd, 3dc, ch1,3dc, 1hdc, 1sc. ) all in the Ch 3 loop, ch1] repeat for each chain loop

Here's the first step which is the same as the basic flower.

If changing colors here: Join in any ch1 loop

*sl st into the back loop sts across then (1 dc, 1dc & picot, 1dc) into the ch1 space, sl st across previous sts* then repeat from *to* then join

Here's the finished flower.

I used a Mod Dea Fancy purple for the center, Caron Simply Soft for the first petal color a Caron Siply Soft Purple for the second color. I did not use a center effect option for the flower.

Center effect for the flower:

To create that pollen center effect in the flower, I suggest using a color with some texture to mimic the textured look many flowers have from stamens and pollen or a different color.

A: sc in each sc of the ring

B: sc ch1 around

C: sc ch2 around

BASIC Star Flower – 4 Petals

You can work the flower in a single color or change colors at each round.

Round 1:

Ch6, sl st to for ring; Ch1

12 sc in the ring, sl st to join

Round 2:

Ch8, skip 2sc, sc in the nxt st around for four petals sl st to join in the beg of the first Ch8; In ch8 do the following: (2 sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 1dc & picot, 2dc, 1hdc, 2sc)

Flower before adding the center option and after adding the center option.

I used a reddish Plymouth Encore for the main color and a fancy yarn, which is either a Bernat or Mod Dea to complete the option C center to make the small flower.

For a slightly larger flower:

Ch10; in each Ch10 do the following: (3sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 1dc &picot, 2dc, 1hdc, 3sc) join

I used purple Plymouth Encore for the main color and the same fancy yarn as above using option B for the center to make a slightly larger flower.

BASIC Star Flower – 5 Petals

You can work the flower in a single color or change color at each round.

Round 1:

Ch8 , join, ring; Ch1

15 sc in the ring, sl st to form a ring

Round 2:

Ch8, skip 2sc, sc in the nxt st around for four petals sl st to join in the beg of the first Ch8

(2 sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 1dc & picot, 2dc, 1hdc, 2sc) join

The 5 petal start flower before and after adding the center option.

I use Lionbrand Micro Spun in purple for the main color and a Mod Dea fancy purple yarn using option A for the center.

For a larger petal/flower:

Ch10 instead of Ch8 then do the following in each ch10: (3sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 1dc &picot, 2dc, 2hdc, 3sc) join

Center effect for both the 4 and 5 petal flower:

To create that pollen center effect in the flower, I suggest using a color with some texture to mimic the textured look many flowers have from the stamens/pollen or use a different color.

A: sc in each sc of the ring

B: sc ch1 around

C: sc ch2 around

Maybe introduce a picot stitch too! Or if you do a larger flower maybe you could repeat the smaller flower instructions from Round 2 around for a three-dimensional affect.

Here's what a medium flower looks like changing colors. I used Caron Simply Soft Orchid for the petals and a Mod Dea fancy purple for the center.

Large flower:

Ch10, skip 2sc, sc in the nxt st around for four petals sl st to join in the beg of the first Ch10; (3sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 1 tr, 2dc, 2hdc, 3sc) join

Round 3:

You can add more color:

Create a two-colored flower by doing an additional row around the petals in a different color:

Here’s an idea for the medium flower:

[(3sc, 2dc,3tr(in ch1), 2dc, 3sc) sc around ch1] for each petal, join, fasten off

Here's a flower I made adding an additonal row of color:

Using Caron Simply Soft Orchid to make Rounds 1& 2 then I used Mod Dea purple fancy yarn for round 3 to make a two colored flower I added a center effect using Mod Dea again doing option B.

FCH 45. (If you can’t quite get the foundation chain, don’t panic! You can do a regular chain 45 and still be fine. A FCH just creates a stretchier base which will be better for your cowl, but either works!)

Round 1: Chain 2 (counts as first HHDC now and throughout). HHDC in each stitch across. (45 HHDC)

Round 2: Chain 2, turn. HHDC in the BACK LOOP ONLY of each stitch across. (45 HHDC)

Repeat Round 2 9 more times or until yarn ends.

Fasten off, leaving a 12″ tail to whip stitch ends. Match short ends of rectangle and whip stitch together. Weave in ends.

Crocheted Deco-Ribbon Flower*

Use this flower to pin onto a bag (as we did on the Raggedy Knit Bag HERE) or as a garment trim. Make several to decorate a shawl or jacket.

Kim used a Crystal Palace Bamboo Crochet Hook size H/8 and Deco-Ribbon color 9147, "berry parfait" with an accent of tangerine in the center.

Make 8ch, sl st into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: 3ch (count as 1dc), into ring work 1dc. (6ch, 3dc) 5 times, 6ch, 1dc, sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of round.

Round 2: *1ch, into next 6ch arch work (1sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 1sc), 1ch, skip 1dc, 1 sl st into next dc: rep from * 5 times more placing last sl st into 3rd of 3ch at beg of previous round. Fasten off.

Round 1: Chain 3, crochet 20 dc in ring (I don't count the ch 3 as a dc, because it's so clumsy to join to it), change to petal color, slip stitch to first dc to join.

Round 2: Chain 1, sc around, join to first sc.

Round 3: Chain 1, sc in same stitch. *skip 1 stitch, 7 dc in next stitch, skip 1 stitch, sc in next stitch* repeat between * 4 more times, 5 petals total. Join to first sc, weave in ends.

Add hanging loop if you feel like it - personally I think they look better without, I just toss them in the laundry after use anyway.

Shamrock Starting Chain: Chain 18, sl st in the 10th ch, to form a circle with part of the chain.

First Leaf: work (3 sc, 3 dc, 6 tr, 3 dc, 3 sc) all in the ch-10 circle just made (first shamrock leaf formed).

Second Leaf: Ch 10, sl st in the 10th ch of the beginning shamrock chain (this is the same spot as the base of first leaf made), for next leaf: work (3 sc, 3 dc, 6 tr, 3 dc, 3 sc) all in the ch-10 circle just made.

Third Leaf: Ch 10, sl st in the 10th ch of the beginning shamrock chain (same spot as base of last leaf made), work (3 sc, 3 dc, 6 tr, 3 dc, 3 sc) all in the ch-10 circle just made. Sl st in base of leaf. Do not end off - continue with stem.

Stem: To form shamrock stem: sc in ea of remaining 8 chains of the beginning ch-18.

To finish: End off. Weave in ends.

Chunky Bangle Pattern

So, I needed a space for my crochet patterns and I thought hey, why not try out this blogging malarkey, and here I am.

I'll start with something relatively simple. This pattern was originally going to be a submission for the CLF 3rd book but I sort of missed the deadline. Nevermind, here it is in all it's glory and for free too!

I like these bangles, they're comfy and they don't make a loud racket when you move your arms!

I used Rowan Cotton Rope (Aran weight) but any aran weight would do. Gauge is not important, just make sure the starting chain can fit around your wrist!

I used a 4.5mm hook, smaller than stated on the yarn, just to make the gauge tight so the bangle has more structure.

Oh and just to make things more complicated I write in UK terms!

Abbreviations:

ch: chain

dc: double crochet

sl st: slip stitch

blo: back loop only

ws: wrong side

sts: stitches

Ch 35, sl st into 1st chain to join (careful not to twist the chain!)

Row 1: Ch 1, dc in one leg of each foundation ch around. Sl st into 1st dc to join

Row 2: Work all sts in blo. Ch 1, dc in each dc around. Sl st to 1st dc to join

Rows 3 & 4: Repeat row 2

To finish, fold in half with ws facing to form bangle shape. Sl st around, joining blo of Row 4 to one leg of foundation ch. end off.

For the black and red bangle I alternated the colours each row, for the red and yellow I changed colour for rows 2&3 then back to the original colour for row 4

So my ex well stalker asked me back out and to move in with him . lol It would take me closer to my friends and my godson and me and him could work on a family . But i dont no if i am ready for this tpye of comment. I do love to sleep in my bed alone .
